Explore the state of North Sudan and experience everything it has to offer, from the hustle and bustle of Khartoum to the solemn quite of Meroe.

  1. Day1 Khartoum
    • National Museum.  Confluence of the Nile.  Republican Palace Museum (except Mon and Sat).  Kitchener Gunboat.  Khalifa House.  Imam El Mahdi Tomb.  Om Dorman local Market.
    • Afternoon: Attend the Sufi ritual in Hamed El Nile (Friday only) Or the Nubian Wrestling (Fri–Sat-Wed)

    Note: Most of Khartoum historical attractions close in Monday.

  2. Day2 Naga and Musawwarat
    • Visit Naga and Musawwarat.  During the rainy season (end of June–July–Aug–Sept), visiting Naga and Musawwarat would be impossible if there’s rain in the valley leads to these sites.
    • Stop at a desert well and meet the locals while getting water for their sheep and camels.
    • Picnic lunch in Naga.
    • Drive to Meroe
    • Arrive in Meroe and set out camp (tents)
    • Dinner and night stay in the camp.
  3. Day3 Meroe
    • Explore the pyramids in Meroe.  The best time to do so and take the best photos is shortly after the sun rise.
    • Visit the Royal City.
    • Drive to the 6th Cataract at Sabaloka.
    • Picnic lunch.
    • Drive back to Khartoum.

Note: There is a luxury accommodation available in Khartoum (Al Salam Rotana and Corinthia hotels),  in Meroe (the Tented camp) and Karima (the Nubian guest house).  Let me know if you would like to include them.
