  • All meals outside Khartoum.  Breakfast normally consists of eggs, cheese, and jam.  Lunch is a light meal; normally tuna, cheese and chips.  Dinner is the main meal; normally consisted of soup, cooked veges, chicken or meat.

  • All Accommodations (8 nights).
  • Invitation letter, traveling permits and photos permission.

  1. Day1 Khartoum
    • National Museum.  Confluence of the Nile.  Republican Palace Museum (except Mon and Sat).  Kitchener Gunboat.  Khalifa House.  Imam El Mahdi Tomb.  Om Dorman local Market.
    • Afternoon: Attend the Sufi ritual in Hamed El Nile(Friday only) Or the Nubian Wrestling (Fri–Sat-Wed)

    Note: Most of Khartoum historical attractions close in Monday.

  2. Day2 Old Dongola
    • Khartoum to Old Dongola from the west road.  About 400 km on a tar road, about 5 hours drive including lunch stop.
    • Explore Old Dongola.
    • Night stay in Old Dongola.
    • All meals and water included.
  3. Day3 Kerma
    • Breakfast.
    • Old Dongola to Kerma.
    • Visit Western and Eastern Deffufa, Dokogil and Deffufa site museum.
    • Night stay in Kerma.
    • All meals and water included.
  4. Day4 Karima
    • Drive to Karima.
    • Stop at El Kurru on the way to Karima.
    • Arrive in Karima, hike Jebel Barkl for the sunset.
    • Night stay in Karima.
    • All meals and water included.
  5. Day5 Nuri & Bayuda Desert
    • Breakfast.
    • Visit the temple of Jebel Berkal and its local museum.
    • Visit Nuri.
    • Drive across Bayuda desert.
    • Visit a local Bedouin community on the way.
    • Arrive in Meroe Pyramids Field and camp overnight.
    • All meals and water included.
  6. Day6 Meroe
    • Breakfast.
    • Explore Meroe Pyramids and visit the Royal City.
    • Drive to Naga and Musawwarat and visit its temples.  During the rainy season (end of June–July–Aug–Sept).  visiting Naga and Musawwarat would be impossible if there’s rain in the valley leads to these sites.
    • Lunch.
    • Stop at the local well in Naga and meet the local while gathering for the water.
    • Drive to Khartoum, arrives in Khartoum before the sun set.  If time permits, we can add the 6th Cataract (Sabaloka)
    • All meals and water included till arriving in Khartoum.
    • Hotel stay in Khartoum.
  7. Day7 Port Sudan
    • Transfer to Khartoum airport and fly to Port Sudan.
    • Transfer to the Red Sea resort and check-in.
    • Free time.
    • Optional activities in Port Sudan: Boat trips for Snorkeling, Diving, Suakin Old Harbor, Sangaleb Island, City tour, El Arous and etc.
    • Night stay in Red Sea Resort.

     

  8. Day8 Port Sudan
    • Free time in the resort.
    • Night stay in the Red Sea Resort.
  9. Day9 Back to Khartoum
    • Check out after breakfast.
    • Transfer to Port Sudan airport and fly to Khartoum.

Note: There is a  luxury accommodation available in Khartoum (Al Salam Rotana and Corinthia hotels),  in Meroe (the Tented camp) and Karima (the Nubian guest house).   Let me know if you would like to include them.

Single supplement is USD 120 per person 

 

Single accommodation available in Khartoum (for Acropole hotel) and Port Sudan.  No extra charge for a Single tent when camping.  No single accommodation available in all guest houses, sometimes; we have to share a big room all together.
