  • 4×4 car rent with A/C.
  • Airport transfers.
  • Fuel and road fees.
  • Tour Guide fees. Please note that a team of tour guides work for Real Sudan and therefore tours guided by Samir are dependent upon his availability.  All RS tour guides are fluent in English and university graduates with degrees in Sudan history.
  • Entry fees.
  • All meals outside Khartoum. Breakfast normally consists of egg, cheese, and jam. Lunch is a light meal; normally tuna, cheese and chips.  Dinner is the main meal; normally consisted of soup, cooked veges, chicken or meat.
  • Bottled water, all hot and cold drinks are included.
  • All Accommodations.  Night stay in a hotel in Khartoum and nights camping or local guest houses outside Khartoum.  Camping or staying in a local guest house is to be decided by the tour guide after consulting with you.
  • Invitation letter, travelling permits and photo permission.
  • Registration fees.

  1. Day1 - 31st January Khartoum
    • National Museum.  Confluence of the Nile.  Khalifa House.  Mahdi Tomb.  Om Dorman Market.  The Sufi ritual in Hamed El Nile.  The Ethnographic Museum (if open).  Lord Kitchener boat.  Nile Street.
    • Hotel stay in Khartoum.
  2. Day2 - 1st February Khartoum
    • The Camel market
    • The Nubian Wrestling
    • Overnight night stay in (hotel) Khartoum.
  3. Day3 - 2nd February Karima
    • Travel to Karima from the west road.
    • Arrive in Karima.  Hike in Jebel Barkal for the sunset.
    • Night stay in Karima
  4. Day4 - 3rd February Jebel Barkal
    • Visit Jebel Barkal temple and the local museum.
    • Karima market
    • Boat ride to El Kurru (about 1.5 hour).  The Petrified forest.
    • Night stay in Karima.
  5. Day5 - 4th February Bayuda Desert
    • Nuri.  Ghazali.  Bayuda desert.  Visit local nomads in the desert (according to availability).  El Damer.
    • Arrive in Meroe and camp overnight.
  6. Day6 - 5th February Meroe
    • Explore Meroe Pyramids in the morning and the Royal City ruins.
    • Visit Atbara and Berber.
    • Back to Meroe and camp overnight.
  7. Day7 - 6th February Musawwarat
    • Drive to Naga and Musawwarat and visit its temples.
    • Stop at the local well in Naga and meet the local while gathering for the water.
    • Arrive in Khartoum.
