  • 4×4 car rent with A/C.
  • Airport transfers.
  • Fuel and road fees.
  • Tour Guide fees.  Please note that a team of tour guides work for Real Sudan and therefore tours guided by Samir are dependent upon his availability.  All RS tour guides are fluent in English and university graduates with degrees in Sudan history.
  • Entry fees.
  • All meals outside Khartoum.  Breakfast normally consists of eggs, cheese, and jam.  Lunch is a light meal; normally tuna, cheese and chips.  Dinner is the main meal; normally consisted of soup, cooked veges, chicken or meat.
  • Bottled water, all hot and cold drinks are included.
  • All Accommodations (13 nights).  1-night stay in a hotel in Khartoum and 6 nights camping or local guest houses outside Khartoum.  Camping or staying in a local guest house is to be decided by the tour guide after consulting with you.
  • Invitation letter, traveling permits and photo permission.
  • Registration fees.

  1. Day1 Khartoum
    • National Museum.  Confluence of the Nile.  Republican Palace Museum (except Mon and Sat).  Kitchener Gunboat.  Khalifa House.  Imam El Mahdi Tomb.  Om Dorman local Market.
    • Afternoon: Attend the Sufi ritual in Hamed El Nile (Friday only) Or the Nubian Wrestling (Fri–Sat–Wed)
  2. Day2 Old Dongola
    • Khartoum.  Benganarti
    • Benganarti.  Old Dongola (Fort on the west road)
  3. Day3 Kerma
    • Old Dongola attractions.
    • Drive to Kerma and visit its attractions (West Deffufa–East Deffufa–Dogogil if opened); the site museum .
    • Visit the local market in the afternoon.
    • Night stay in local guesthouse.
  4. Day4 Sesibi
    • Kerma.  3rd Cataract.
    • Cross the Nile in Delgo.
    • Night stay in Sesibi (possible in the Nubian guest house)
  5. Day5 Soleb
    • Sesibi temple.
    • Travel to Soleb.  Visit the temple.
    • Night stay in Soleb guesthouse .
  6. Day6 New Dongola
    • Sunrise in Soleb.
    • Drive to New Dongola.
    • Night stay in a hotel.
  7. Day7 Karima
    • New Dongola.  Karima
    • Hike Jebel Barkal for the sunset.
    • Local guesthouse in Karima.
  8. Day8 Karima & El Kuru
    • Karima site.
    • Karima market.
    • Boat ride to El Kurru (about 1.5 hour)
    • The Petrified forest.
  9. Day9 Nuri & Bayuda Desert
    • Nuri.  Ghazali.  Bayuda desert.
    • Visit local nomads in the desert (according to availability)
    • Arrive in Meroe and camp overnight or hotel or local guesthouse .
    • Possibly stop at El Damer market (according to time)
  10. Day10 Meroe
    • Meroe.  Royal City.
    • Musawwarat.
    • Naga.
    • 6th Cataract.
  11. Day11 Atbara
    • Khartoum.  Atbara.  Port Sudan.
    • Night stay in a beach resort/hotel.
  12. Day12 Port Sudan
    • Free day.
    • Night stay in a beach resort/hotel.

    Optional activities: Diving, Sanganeb Reef, Port Sudan city tour.

  13. Day13 Port Sudan
    • Free day.
    • Night stay in a beach resort/hotel.
  14. Day14 Suakin
    • Drive back to Khartoum via Suakin Old Port and Hadab Museum.
